JAM JAM Eatery & Bar

Your new favourite casual dining hotspot puts you at ease; just pull up a chair and take your time choosing from western comfort foods and Asian favourites. As a platform for local deliciousness to shine, JAM JAM Eatery & Bar offers a seasonal farm-driven menu curated in a colourful collaboration between our executive chefs and some of Bangkok’s best loved cooks.

Paolo Vitaletti and Jarrett Wrisley, the brains behind Appia, Peppina and Soul Food Mahanakorn restaurants, bring an authentic culinary experience to ASAI Chinatown. The dynamic dining duo have designed comforting dishes influenced by Asian and international flavours, using the freshest ingredients possible, lots of them picked from the exclusive on-site organic garden.

From 6:30am to 10:30am, JAM JAM serves hearty, wholesome breakfast dishes like Avocado toast, made with house-baked multigrain bread, ripe avocado, grilled-corn salsa, toasted rice and a poached egg, and fun interpretations of western classics, like ‘Chinatown’ Benedict, made with Yaowarat smoked duck, XO hollandaise, poached egg and an English muffin. What a way to start the day!

Then there’s all-day dining at JAM JAM, with comfort dishes done right. Take the super vibrant Roots and Grains — wood-roasted organic beets with red onion, mandarin orange vinaigrette, barley, toasted seeds and nuts, or the fulfilling stir-fried Chinatown noodles — fresh egg noodles stir-fried with crab and lobster, spring onions, chili, garlic, colatura d’alici and coriander. And those are just two exmaples. 

Coming soon as a seasonal surprise dinner, our in-house Executive Chef is working on a pop-up concept focused on her passion for Vietnamese cuisine, starring fresh ingredients from the on-site organic garden.

At ASAI, our favourite things are minimising environmental impact and supporting local artisans. With that in mind, we’ve designed our transforming bar concept where, in the morning, the expert team of baristas will take the stage to serve organic coffee from Akha Ama and organic teas sourced from local producers. Ask for a signature coffee designed by Khun Lee from Akha Ama. In the afternoon, the bar shifts towards locally inspired cocktails, natural and biodynamic wine from Wine Garage, plus your choice of craft beer and sake. You can also pair your favourite glass with our tasty local bar snacks. 

Specially for beer fans, ASAI-branded craft beer, Chai Lane (which means “mangroves” in Thai) is a forward-thinking, ecologically responsible, and consciously curated craft beer. It’s a refreshing, palate-cleansing pilsner with notes of fresh coconut on the nose, finishing dry with a subtle sweetness in your mouth. This delicious pale lager has a smooth mouthfeel and is perfect for thirst quenching after a day of exploring. Plus, through each purchase of Chai Lane, we give back to our precious habitats: a percentage of the proceeds goes to a foundation that protects marine and coastal resources.

Bonus: besides the restaurant concept JAM JAM Eatery & Bar also offers Grab & Go bites for inhouse guests and visitors, so you can pick up a tasty selection of daily-made salads, fresh-pressed juices, sandwiches and pastries by Dusit Gourmet and Kauai, plus a variety of snacks, soft drinks, iced coffees and teas.
