Bored of your t-shirt? Your pillowcase? That old scarf? Join Lalina to discover a fun way to transform fabrics using food scraps. Learn to turn things like avocado stones, beetroot and onion skin and other leftovers into coloured dyes you can use to revamp your wardrobe or your home. It’s cool, creative and a good use of kitchen waste.
Come over for a fun Sunday at ASAI Bangkok Chinatown and go home with your very own new t-shirt, customised with the colours of nature.
Based in Bangkok, Lalina is the founder of LLN, a textile design studio focused on reinterpreting ideas of waste in the creation process. Her practices bring together multiple industries, generations and techniques to create meaningful products. Coming from a restaurant family, she started incorporating food waste into her textile design early; come share her knowledge.
